Petronas launches ‘Siapa Jojo?’ webfilm to mark fests

KUCHING: Petronas launched its festive web-film ‘Siapa Jojo?’ on Tuesday to mark the Kaamatan and Gawai Dayak festivals.

The film’s central message is to always appreciate the blessings in life that one often takes for granted.

“The web- film continues the story of five best friends Anang, Joseph, Ah Keong, Hakim and Arathi, all of whom were introduced during the previous Petronas Chinese New Year webfilm entitled ‘ It Came From A Tin Mine’,” said Petronas Group Strategic Communicat­ions senior general manager Zahariah Abdul Rahman during the launch.

Anang and her friends then learn an unexpected lesson that reminds them and all of us to always count our blessings and good fortune.” She said Petronas would like to bring to life stories that reflect the hard work and commitment that leads to a joyous and meaningful celebratio­n with loved ones.

“Our 2017 overall campaign brings forward stories that embody the spirit of determinat­ion and perseveran­ce to inspire others to never give up and to strive together for a better tomorrow.

“The five characters represent the diverse culture and traditions that make Malaysia truly unique. Despite our difference­s, we are able to appreciate and celebrate these diversitie­s as well as the festivitie­s together,” she said.

‘Siapa Jojo?’ is now available for viewing at www.petronasof­ficial. com.

The television commercial will tentativel­y air from May 30 to June 5.
