Nominations for Sheda Excellence Awards 2017 now open
KUCHING: Sarawak Home and Real Estate Developer Association (Sheda) Excellence Awards 2017 is open for nominations, and both Sheda members and non-members may apply.
The categories available cover the whole spectrum of property development, from landed or strata residential and commercial developments to masterplans, institutional buildings and showrooms.
Acknowledging the importance of innovation, the committee also welcomes the submission of exceptional development projects which may showcase, amongst others, unconventional ideas, novel use of green technology, or extensive use of Industrialised Building System ( IBS).
Projects that have focal elements designed to spur community revitalisation, create dynamic public spaces or advance sustainability, are all invited to apply.
The Sheda Excellence Awards is a platform through which outstanding developments and developers in Sarawak can be publicly credited and acknowledged for their achievements and contribution to the housing and real estate industry.
The main objectives of the awards are to enhance the growth of the property industry in Sarawak and to set a benchmark of distinction, quality and innovation.
Since 2009, over 30 outstanding developments across a range of residential and commercial projects have been recognised.
In addition to the development awards, Sheda has also conferred exceptional individuals the coveted title of ‘Sheda Property Man of the Year’ for their respective achievements and contribution to the housing and real estate industry in Sarawak.
The deadline for submission is July 28 this year.
