Miri Division Under-20 Futsal Championship to be held in July

MIRI: The Miri Division Youth, Sports and Solidarity Of fice in collaboration with Football Association of Miri is organising a Divisional level Under-20 Futsal Championship to held on July 8 and 9 at the indoor stadium here.

A spoke sper son for the organisers said the tournament is to select players to represent the Miri division for the state level of the championship.

“The format of the tournament will be decided later based on number of entries. It is an open tournament for men and women categories.

“Entrance fee RM150 each team in the men’s section while women’s teams will charged RM100 per team.”

Completed forms have to be submitted to the organiser before or on the closing date of July 4th this year.

The championship is offering attractive cash prizes to the top four winners and the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sport Trophy for the champion. . In men category, the champion will win RM1,000 cash, trophy and medals while the runner-up will win with RM700 , trophy and medals.

The teams fi nishing third and fourth will receive RM400 each.

A cash prize amount of RM700 would be given to the champion women team plus trophy and medal.

The losing finalist will get RM500, trophy and medal. while the teams finishing third and fourth will receive RM300 each.
