AirAsia’s ‘Free Seats’ promo returns with great deals

KUCHING: AirAsia is offering up to three million promotiona­l seats in its latest ‘Free Seats’ campaign.

For bookings made between June 5 and 11 this year meant for travelling periods between Jan 15 and Aug 28 next year, fares from as low as zero-ringgit (oneway base fare excluding taxes and fees – terms and conditions apply) are up for grabs for routes such as from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru, Penang, and Surat Thani (Thailand); from Penang to Langkawi and Singapore; as well as from Johor Bahru to Terengganu.

“Guests travelling on AirAsia X will also be able to enjoy fares as low as RM199 from Kuala Lumpur to Perth (Australia) and Chongqing (China), in addition to enjoying its award-winning Premium Flatbed from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing and Shanghai (both China), Osaka (Japan), Busan (South Korea), Auckland (New Zealand), Gold Coast (Australia) and several other destinatio­ns from only RM899.

“The Premium Flatbed and Premium Flex now include travel insurance for all direct flights departing from Malaysia and Thailand,” the carrier said.

AirAsia guests can now enjoy more perks including onboard compliment­ary meal, compliment­ary flight changes, baggage delay coverage, as well as the ‘One-Hour-On-TimeGuaran­tee’.

AirAsia BIG and BIG Prepaid MasterCard members will enjoy priority access and are able to make bookings via airasia.com and the AirAsia mobile app,or redeem flights via airasiabig.com beginning today (June 4).

Other partners will also be able to access the promotion 24 hours earlier. BIG Prepaid cardholder­s can do so via airasia.com, AirAsiaGo and AirAsia Expedia on their respective websites, while Citibank account holders in Malaysia will receive an exclusive link from the bank.

The first 100 daily bookings with AirAsia-Citi Card will get a RM50 AirAsia Electronic Gift Voucher (eGV).

AirAsia Group chief commercial officer Siegtraund Teh said: “The ‘Free Seats’ campaign is the best time to lock down travel plans for next year. With so many fantastic destinatio­ns on offer, it’s perfect for a long break or even just a quick weekend getaway.”
