Win an all paid holiday trip to Shanghai
MIRI: Malaysian Shell lubricant dealers and end-users (consumers) stand a chance to win an all-paid holiday trip to Shanghai to visit the Shell Shanghai Technology Centre.
To qualify, participants must be 21 years old and above and need to purchase certain Shell products during the current Rimula Global promotion held throughout the country until July 31.
In Sarawak, KTS Trading Sdn Bhd, being one of Shell’s leading lubricant distributors in the state is holding promotions for the products to enable local dealers and customers buying them at discounted prices to participate in the contest for the holiday trip to Shanghai. On the promotion days, free gifts are given to customers.
Yesterday, a steady stream of customers came for the one-day promotion held at KTS Miri branch at No. 272, Nahkoda Gampar Road.
KTS distributing marketing manager Alexander Chieng Siong Huo said there was encouraging response to the first leg of the promotion held in Kuching from May 18 - 21.
He said among the factors for the good response were customer’s trust in Shell which has been the world’s largest lubricant supplier for 10 consecutive years and its presence in Malaysia spanning 126 years.
“Thus KTS anticipates good response for a similar promotion to be held at Paragon Mall, Bintulu on June 17 and the final leg in Sibu on June 23.
“This type of indulgent VIP trip is a once a year opportunity. We hope our dealers and customers in Sarawak will take full advantage of it so they can be among the 12 privileged winners to go to Shanghai,” Chieng told thesundaypost during the promotion held here yesterday.
Also present were KTS Miri branch manager Stephen Chiew Ching Nguong, senior officials and staff.
Meanwhile KTS in a statement said the promotion showcased two newly upgraded heavy duty diesel engine oil which further demonstrated Shell’s market leadership.
The two products are Rimula R5 LE 10W/40 (semi-synthetic) and Rimula R6 LM 10W/40 (fully synthetic) based on the Dynamic Protection Plus technology, which combines its proprietary PurePlus technology (base oil) and adaptive additive technology.
The new Rimula range has employed the cutting edge gas-to-liquid process to convert natural gas to an ultra clean and ultra pure base oil free from impurities, thus ensuring optimised viscosity, wear protection and stability properties.
The top tier Rimula R6 LM 10W/40 offers 53 per cent better wear protection besides preventing build-up of acids and deposits in key engine components.
“This is the result of the staggering research and development investment of more than USD1 billion annually in lubricants technology,” the statement added.
Meanwhile those interested in taking part in the contest can still purchase the Rimula lubricant by July 31.
