the YBs, could convey this to the top leadership.

“The YBs will go on the ground to see what is really needed to be improved upon so that appropriate work could be conducted; hence I want the suburban areas such as Subis to be a developed area – one that we are proud of.

“I also wish to see the parents to really care about their children’s education. I want to see the children being successful in their studies because these children are the ones who will bring our country towards becoming a developed nation,” he said.

On another matter, Ahmad Lai thanked the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) for its continuous work in ensuring that youths would be free from the drug menace.

“Through various skills centre established by the government, our children are able to learn and improve themselves towards a better future, and not to be involved in social ills especially those related to drug abuse,” he said.

Ahmad Lai also lauded all the agencies and individuals on their efforts, which had contributed in making the Subis regatta a success.
