IN today’s modern world, it is important for those who strive to become a business professional to get the required qualifications.
In order to be hired at prestigious firms and to advance their careers consistently, the importance of academic qualifications cannot be denied.
IBS College Miri has been one of the most active business highereducation colleges in northern Sarawak for almost 20 years.
As one of the pioneering private business colleges in this part of Sarawak, IBS College Miri has made it a mission to ensure a steady stream of young and ready employees for small, medium and large enterprises in Malaysia.
IBS College’s main programme is the Diploma in Business Administration with Specialisation, where students are exposed to a wide range of business subjects such as management, finance, accounting, marketing, and business law.
Students are also able to choose specialisations in their business diploma, which includes Business Management, Accounting and Finance Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing Management.
Upon completion of the business diploma programme, students can then choose to further their studies in the bachelor’s degree programme in IBS College Miri, which is in partnership with various universities such as UCSI Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak ( Unimas).
According to Dr. Antony Hii, the Principal and President of IBS College, the college understands the fact that these programmes are an investment for the students and their parents.
“IBS College business programmes are designed with the mindset of preparing the students with the skill and knowledge they would need to kick- start their professional business career with affordable tuition fees,” he said.
