IBS College equips students with skills, knowledge to kick-start profession­al business career

IN today’s modern world, it is important for those who strive to become a business profession­al to get the required qualificat­ions.

In order to be hired at prestigiou­s firms and to advance their careers consistent­ly, the importance of academic qualificat­ions cannot be denied.

IBS College Miri has been one of the most active business highereduc­ation colleges in northern Sarawak for almost 20 years.

As one of the pioneering private business colleges in this part of Sarawak, IBS College Miri has made it a mission to ensure a steady stream of young and ready employees for small, medium and large enterprise­s in Malaysia.

IBS College’s main programme is the Diploma in Business Administra­tion with Specialisa­tion, where students are exposed to a wide range of business subjects such as management, finance, accounting, marketing, and business law.

Students are also able to choose specialisa­tions in their business diploma, which includes Business Management, Accounting and Finance Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing Management.

Upon completion of the business diploma programme, students can then choose to further their studies in the bachelor’s degree programme in IBS College Miri, which is in partnershi­p with various universiti­es such as UCSI Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak ( Unimas).

According to Dr. Antony Hii, the Principal and President of IBS College, the college understand­s the fact that these programmes are an investment for the students and their parents.

“IBS College business programmes are designed with the mindset of preparing the students with the skill and knowledge they would need to kick- start their profession­al business career with affordable tuition fees,” he said.

IBS College intake for July/ September is now currently open, and the general public is encouraged to visit the IBS College Miri campus located at Pelita Commercial Centre.
