Career talk on July 6 to help those still looking for jobs

KUCHING: The upcoming ‘1K Career Opportunit­y Talk’ is aimed at assisting those still looking for employment, especially the young graduates.

Specifical­ly for this time around, the programme will introduce the latest career opportunit­ies in the digital and Internet era.

With more people nowadays using online platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Google and YouTube, it has revolution­ised the ‘Consumer Data Platform’ where it does not require physical sales of products or services; instead, it leverages on consumer database-building and online shopping.

This platform can potentiall­y help many existing business owners to draw new customers to their retail outlets and thus, generate more revenues. Moreover, this platform also offers profit sharing to their business partners.

Through the power of multiplica­tion, this platform can create thousands of career opportunit­ies across Sarawak and because of the low-entry fee, anyone can leverage on this platform towards building ‘a revolution­ised career with revolution­ised income’ just by leveraging on consumer database-building. at the age of 19

The speaker for ‘1K Career Opportunit­y Talk’ will be Winston Chang, who set up his own business Mycom Enterprise, an IT store, in 1997 – when he was 19. In 2012, he brought redONE (previously known as RedTone Mobile) into Sarawak.

Chang is a Microsoft Certified Profession­al for Windows 2000 and also a Neuro Linguistic Programmin­g (NLP) practition­er certified by the American Union of NLP.

He is an experience­d trainer, having guided more than 500 redONE agents across Sarawak.

With his 20 years of business experience, he believes that market trends and technologi­es could create career and business opportunit­ies, just like in 1997 during the IT boom.

Junior Chamber Internatio­nal (JCI) Padawan Chapter will conduct the talk in English on July 6 – from 7pm to 9pm – at the MycomMax Training Centre (the level above the redone premises) at Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce here.

The session is open for all JCI members and members of the public. Admission is free.
