CT Academic to hold Further Studies Fair

MIRI: CT Academic will hold its Further Studies Fair this Saturday (July 8) at Imperial Palace Hotel from 2pm to 6pm.

A press release said students and parents will have free access to representa­tives from education institutio­ns in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.

University and college staff will be available to discuss courses, programme intakes, tuition fees, scholarshi­ps, and education loans.

School leavers can apply with their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia ( SPM), pre-university, or diploma results to gain entry to mid-year intakes.

The participat­ing institutio­ns are Raven New Zealand Education Specialist, ASA Overseas Education Specialist ( UK), James Cook University Singapore, PSB Academy Singapore, AIMST University, Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Curtin University Malaysia, HELP University, KDU University College, Segi College Sarawak, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, Taylor’s University and Taylor’s College, and UCSI University.

Many institutio­ns will offer early-bird waiver promotions such as registrati­on fee discounts or tuition fee discounts.

Students are encouraged to bring along their latest academic results or report cards for on-the-spot applicatio­n and assessment.

Some of the bursary and scholarshi­p promotions are full corporate scholarshi­p including living allowance for Diploma in Nursing at UCSI University for the July intake; AirAsia Travel Voucher worth RM200 and Starbucks Gift Card for Curtin University Malaysia’s enrolment for July and August intakes for Foundation and Degree programmes; RM1,200 tactical discount for early bird registrati­on into Inti Internatio­nal University and Colleges; as well as 100 per cent free waiver of tuition fee at Foundation level at KDU University College on the condition of pursuing degree programmes at KDU.

There are also 100 per cent scholarshi­ps for Foundation in Science leading to BSc Physiother­apy at AIMST University, and 15 per cent East Malaysian scholarshi­p for any programme at APU.

CT Academic has held education fairs here for 17 years and helped thousands of students enter local and overseas institutio­ns.

It is a one- stop education centre assisting students and parents with college and university applicatio­ns, student visas, hostel arrangemen­ts, and course counsellin­g.
