Jimisar Motors debuts the all new Honda CR-V in Sibu
SIBU: Jimisar Motors Sdn Bhd (Jimisar Motors) yesterday unveiled the all new 5th generation Honda CR-V at its Jalan Salim showroom here.
The all new Honda CR-V offers a comprehensive suite of new, class-leading features from its exterior, interior, advanced powertrain to advanced safety technology.
According to the executive director of Jimisar Group, Andy Ismail the CR-V which comes with the design concept of ‘Man Maximum, Machine Minimum’ provides more legroom.
He said the all new CRV comes in four variants: 2.0L i-VTEC 2WD, 1.5 Turbocharged Premium 2WD, 1.5 Turbocharged 2WD and 1.5 Turbocharged 4WD.
All variants comes with CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology, providing a balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
The all new CR-V comes with solid safety features including six airbags (all variants), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and MultiAngle Rearview Camera. Display (TFT) and Driver Attention Monitor that assists drivers to stay vigilant during the drive through a combination of alerts and steering vibrations.
The All New CR-V has replaced the traditional hand/footbrake to Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), a feature that allows more space at the console area and enhances driving comfort.
For the turbocharged variants, the all new CR-V also comes with Walk Away Auto Lock to increase owner’s enjoyment of their new SUV.
As for interior, the all new CR-V comes with 7” Advanced Display Audio that is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ready, adding enjoyment to the drive.
Dual Zone Air conditioning is also featured, to ensure occupants of the all new CRV are comfortable at individual level. Rear USB ports have been added to allow rear passengers to charge their devices easily.
“I’m pleased to announce that for the first time, Honda Malaysia is introducing Honda Sensing (applicable for 1.5 turbocharged Premium 2WD only).

“I’m pleased to announce that we have received overwhelming response prior to the launch of the all new Honda CRV. We are expecting to collect 50 units of booking by the end of this month,” Andy said.
He pointed out that with the current product line-ups and the introduction of this all new Honda CR-V, Jimisar Motors will be aiming for an average of 85 units of registration and 750 units of service throughput on monthly basis throughout the second half of this year.
The all new CR-V is available in five colour options: Dark Olive Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.
