Health Week at Boulevard Shopping Mall next month
KUCHING: Boulevard Health Week will be held from Aug 3 to 6 at Boulevard Shopping Mall.
“The objective of this event is to create health awareness and to cultivate a healthy lifestyle among the community,” said the mall’s function and marketing manager Chin Sze King at a press conference here yesterday.
There will be a Health Expo at the ground floor of the new wing from 10am to 10pm daily featuring exhibitors Ogawa, Liansin, Guardian, Nestle and Green Zone. There will also be a free health screening and consultation.
Other events open to the public for the expo are a yoga dance/ joyful stress release technique session by The Art of Living, ‘ Fun Time With Yakult’, vegan cuisine cooking demonstration by The Art of Living and a healthy ingredients-making workshop by The Art of Living.
There will also be a Mr Boulevard and Mr Borneo Bodybuilding Supplement ( BBS) Bodybuilding Competition on Aug 5 at 3pm at the Atrium Stage in the new wing.
Registration fee is RM20. Entry forms may be obtained from the BBS Kuching outlet at Jalan Ban Hock and Boulevard Shopping Mall. Closing date for registration is July 29. Participants will weigh in on Aug 4 from 6pm to 7.30pm at the BBS Kuching outlet.
Mr Boulevard and Mr BBS contestants stand a chance to win attractive prizes of prize money, trophies, supplement and certificates.
Meanwhile, the public are welcome to join the Fun Ride Fiesta at Boulevard Shopping Mall outdoor car park starting at 7am on Aug 6.
Free registration is open to members of the public aged 12 and above. Registration closes on July 31. Lucky draw prizes worth a total of RM10,000 and certificates will be given away to participants who complete the 30km ride.
