Farley announces results of children’s colouring contest

SIBU: The impressive work of Loo Ae Een stole the judges’ hearts, earning her the top prize for Group A ( Primary 4- 6) category in the Farley Children’s Colouring Contest 2017, taking place on the compound of Farley Supermarke­t in Salim here yesterday.

Hii Wei Shan grabbed second place, while Joycean Wong came in third.

In Group B ( Primary 1- 3) category, Sharon Mok took first place, followed by respective runners-up Wong Xiu Seng in second and Elroi Yong.

Meanwhile, Emilia Tie was adjudged as the best in Group C ( Kindergart­en) category, with Bunice Yu and Emily Wong placing respective second and third.

There were also 10 consolatio­n prizes for each of the three categories.

The annual colouring contest – open for all children including those whose parents are not Farley Card members – attracted more than 1,000 participan­ts.

The contest was run by Farley Supermarke­t, with Dumex Dugro coming as key sponsor.

Farley managing director Lau Siew Whye, Farley Group of Companies general manager Eijing Lau and Farley Shoes Centre manager Wong Hai Sing were also present.

Eijing, Danone Dumex ( M) Sdn Bhd executive Lee Kim Choon and Danone Dumex ( M) Sdn Bhd channel developmen­t manager Ivan Liaw presented the prizes to the top contestant­s of Groups A, B and C respective­ly.
