UCSI University offers Medicine and Pharmacy course

SIBU: UCSI University is offering a degree course in Medicine and Pharmacy. UCSI University is one of the top higher education institutio­ns in Malaysia with campuses in Kuala Lumpur, Terengganu and Kuching.

The university is equipped with advanced equipment to meet the needs of students and offers a wide range of academic courses such as medicine, pharmacy, nursing, engineerin­g, architectu­re, music, multimedia, education and humanities. They are now taking part in the education fair hosted by GES GLOBAL Educationa­l Group to provide informatio­n on pathways to Degree in Medicine and Pharmacy to students and parents. UCSI is specifical­ly providing two educationa­l talks:

“Why choose UCSI’s medicine programme?”, conducted by Dr Azlina A Razak ( PhD Pharmacolo­gy and Physiology, MSc Medicine, BBiomedSc) for Miri, Bintulu, Sibu; and Associate Professor Dr Cheah Shiau Chuen ( PhD Biochemist­ry, BSc ( Hons) Biochemist­ry) for Kuching.

“Why study pharmacy? Is there a future for pharmacist­s?”, conducted by Professor Dr Yeoh Peng Nam ( PhD Pharmacolo­gy, MSc Pharmacolo­gy, BPharm) for Miri, Bintulu, Sibu, and Kuching. The education fair is on July 28 ( Friday) in Miri at 2pm – 6pm in Pullman Hotel, in Bintulu on July 29 at 1pm – 5pm at Promenade Hotel, in Sibu on July 30 at 1pm – 5pm at Tanahmas Hotel and on August 5 (Saturday) in Kuching at 1pm – 5pm at Pullman Hotel.
