Know more about heart health at ‘Anlene Wellness Check’ this weekend

KUCHING: Fonterra Brands Malaysia is furthering its efforts in educating Malaysians about the importance of having a healthy heart through its Anlene campaign.

The group is running its free ‘Anlene Wellness Check’ at Ta Kiong of tHe Spring Shopping Mall here till tomorrow, from 10am to 10pm daily.

“The Anlene Wellness Check is one of the new initiative­s by Anlene to help Malaysians understand how simple changes in one’s diet and lifestyle can go a long way towards maintainin­g healthy heart and healthy bones,” the organiser said.

There are free samples of Anlene Heart-Plus and chocolatef­lavoured milk, as well as product promotions price and premium gifts to be given away throughout

With a purchase of Anlene products worth RM30, customers will get a free towel, while for any purchase worth RM40, RM80 and RM120, they will get a free shoe bag, a free umbrella and a free tumbler – respective­ly.

According to Fonterra Brands Malaysia, those coming for the ‘Anlene Wellness Check’ will have their waists measured – the circumfere­nce of which is a quick and easy screening tool that provides an estimate of their abdominal fat.

“Larger waist circumfere­nce may contribute to poor heart health.

“Consumers will also go through bone health and flexibilit­y checks. Subsequent­ly, education on importance of good nutrition and active lifestyle to maintain healthy heart, as well as to build and maintain strong bones, joints and muscles for everyday movement, will be presented by trained consultant­s,” the group said.
