Winners share the spotlight at Megalanes Skins Challenge

KUCHING: Nur Haziqah Ramli, the only player with a handicap (5) in the 10-player field, registered a total pinfalls of 1,603 to top the Megalanes Skins Challenge 169 & Below category at Megalanes Adventure World, King’s Centre on Friday.

Isman Osman felled 1,570 pins to secure second spot while in third place with 1,537 pins is Lucas Lim.

They are followed by Mohd Radzri, Isa Kumar, Awg Abd Rahman, Benny Teo, Muhd Syarifuddin, Glen Robin and Eugene Lai in fourth to 10th placings.

The 189 & Below category saw Eric Chong finishing in top spot with 1,694 pins while Adrian Koh and Lim Cho Kwang were second and third with 1,673 pins and 1,603 pins respectively.

In the 149 & Below category, Cornelious Law was the top finisher with his total pinfalls of 1,485 scored over nine games. Forty pins behind him in second place was Fairaizulhisham and Azman claimed the third spot with 1,415 pinfalls.

The Megalanes Skins Challenge is divided into six categories namely 109 & Below, 149 & Below, 159 & Below, 169 & Below, 189 & Below and Open.

For the 109 & Below category, top four bowlers from each of Megalanes Adventure World and Megalanes Sarawak MQ standings will qualify for the finals, while for the 149 & Below, 159 & Below, 169 & Below, 189 & Below and Open categories, the top sixth bowlers from each centre will be competing in the finals.
