Gree air-conditioner awaits lucky BP Run finisher
SIBU: Finishers at the Aug 31 Borneo Post Run stand a chance to win fabulous lucky draw prizes which include a Gree airconditioner as the grand prize.
Gree Malaysia Sdn Bhd’s marketing executive Vincent Teng yesterday handed over the prizes to See Hua Marketing Sdn Bhd’s senior assistant manager (Sibu Area) Kueh Nguan Seng.
According to Kueh, Gree Malaysia Sdn Bhd is sponsoring lucky draw prizes totalling more than RM2,000.
“Only the finishers are entitled to the lucky draw,” he said.
Entries for the run, which will start and end at Sibu Town Square, are still being accepted. The closing date is Aug 8.
“However, (there will be) no more free T- shirts for those who register for the event now,” Kueh said, explaining that the free T- shirts were only given to the first 2,500 to register.
The run is divided into five categories — 10km Men’s Open, 10km Women’s Open, 10km Boys’ Junior, 10km Girls’ Junior and 5km Fun Run.
The champions for the Men’s and Women’s Open will each get RM500 while the first runners-up will get RM350.
The second runners-up will each bag RM300, the third runners-up, RM250, and the fourth runnersup, RM150.
Those placing sixth to 20th will each get RM50 as consolation.
For the Boys’ and Girls’ Junior, the prize structure is RM350 for the champion, RM300 for the first runner-up, RM250 for the second runner-up, RM200 for the third runner-up and RM150 for the fourth runner-up.
Those placing sixth to 60th will each get RM30.
For the Fun Run, it is RM150 for the champion, RM120 for the first runner-up, RM100 for the second runner-up, RM80 for the third runner-up and RM60 for the fourth runner-up.
Those placing sixth to 90th will each get RM20.
