KUCHING: The Taska Warisan Bidayuh in Kampung Bogag near Bau continues to receive assistance from concerned members of the public who want to help the kindergarten reduce its expenditure bill.

The latest group of people to help this kindergarten were donors from Kuching led by Eric Kueh, after they were informed of its situation by volunteer social worker Lim Chee Haw.

Together with Lim, they went to the village to hand over the items in a simple ceremony attended by village chief Bogeg Nyaon.

The kindergarten, which uses Bidayuh dialect as medium of instruction apart from English and Bahasa Malaysia, currently has 15 pre-schoolers.

“We also handed over donations to five poor families in Kampung Bogag. I must thank these donors, who took some time off their busy schedule to give back to the society and help the needy villagers,” said Lim.

On another matter, Lim said he can also assist in helping non- Muslim poor families in acquiring coffins for them during times of bereavement.

These coffins were purchased by good samaritans and are now placed at a coffin shop at Third Mile here.

He can be contacted at 082248153 or 016- 8070388 for more information. So far, a total of 12 coffins have been delivered including to families as far as Bau, Serian and Sri Aman.
