MMS to hold series of education fairs

KUCHING: The MMS Education Fair will be held today at RH Hotel Sibu from 1pm to 5pm.

It will then move on to Imperial Hotel Miri tomorrow ( 1pm to 5pm), Promenade Hotel Bintulu on Monday (Aug 7) from 2pm to 6pm, Sabah Hotel in Sandakan on Thursday (Aug 10) from 2pm to 6pm, Promenade Hotel Tawau on Friday (Aug 11) from 2pm to 6pm, Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu next Saturday (Aug 12) from noon until 5pm, and Pullman Kuching the following Sunday (Aug 13) from noon until 5pm.

The fairs are ideal for East Malaysian students looking for what to do after Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia, and Unified Examination Certificate.

MMS Education Placement Group is a one- stop centre providing students and parents with counselling for courses at renowned institutions across Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Participating institutions from Australia are University of Canberra, Deakin University, Melbourne Polytechnic, Monash University, Wil liam Angliss Institute, Canning Col lege, University of Western Australia, Griffith College, IES Foundation Year (UQ Foundation), Queensland UniversityofTechnology,University of Queensland, University of Tasmania, Curtin University, and JMC Academy.

From Malaysia are Curtin University Sarawak Campus, KDU University College, Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia, Methodist College, Monash University Malaysia, and Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus.

New Zealand’s Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) and Singapore’s Raffles Design Institute will also take part, along with the United Kingdom’s Cambridge Education Group (CEG), MPW Schools and Colleges, and St Andrew’s College.

From the United States will be CEG – ON Campus USA, University of Nebraska Lincoln, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and University of St Thomas.

Note that some institutions will only participate in selected towns and entrance is free.
