Executive College awards top students with scholarships
KUCHING: Executive College yesterday announced 10 winners of its scholarships and awards of up to 50 per cent of their tuition fees.
The students are Eileen Liew Zhi Yiun, Alvin Yeo Kai Xiang, Tan Bing Xeng, Carol Chiew Sze Ting, Tan Jun Wei, Liew Siaw Shih, Eleanor Tan Szeying, Adeline Phang Jia Qing, Alan Wan Ying Lee and Jashon Lee Chin Yien.
These achievers are studying Diploma in Quantity Surveying ( DQS), Bachelor in Business Administration ( Hons) and Bachelor of Technology ( Hons) in Construction Management ( BTCM).
“All courses in Executive College are offered at an affordable fee and on top of that, we offer scholarships and award for students who qualify.
“In Executive College, obtaining a quality education does not have to cost more than what one can afford,” commented Sheila Sie, chief executive officer of Executive College in a press statement yesterday.
Executive College has awarded scholarships every year since 2014.
The scholarships included ‘ High Achiever and Merit Scholarship’ for students who performed well in SPM, STPM, Foundation or Diploma examinations.
On the other hand, those who have held leadership roles in extracurricular activities at school or with exemplary achievement at national, regional or state level are eligible for Extra- Curriculum Excellence Award.
Executive College will be having its next intake in September.
It has Foundation in Arts, Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Diploma in Business Administration, which offers complete pathway to Bachelor Degree programmes in prestigious universities in Malaysia, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Executive College also offers Bachelor in Business Administration ( Hons) and Bachelor of Technology ( Hons) in Construction Management in collaboration with Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur ( IUKL).
