Union Suites in Petaling Jaya a concept lifestyle development

-

KUCHING: Symphony Life, developers of exceptional real estate, has launched yet another concept lifestyle development, Union Suites, a 42- storey Soho in the heart of education land Bandar Sunway, Selangor where top universities are located.

This translates into a student population of over 60,000.

Occupying a 2.62 acre plot, Union Suites is slated for completion in 2021 with a gross development value (GDV) of RM432 million.

It is strategically located a stone’s throw from Taylor’s, Monash, and Sunway universities just down the street from popular mall Sunway Pyramid. Around the corner is Sunway Medical Centre.

Access to and from this development is via six major highways - LDP, NPE, KESAS, NKVE, Federal Highway and ELITE Highway - and the LRT and the Sunway Bus Rapid Transport ( BRT).

It’s convenient as one can pop downstairs for basic necessities such as dining, groceries, stationery, and clinic services.

Symphony Life pulled out all the stops with Union Suites as aside from the usual facilities are two rather unusual offerings: a boxing ring and a futsal field.

To keep the adrenaline pumping is a Sky Gymnasium – so named because of the incredible view one gets when pounding away on the treadmill 42 levels above the ground.

Rounding off the list are a yoga deck, jacuzzi, wading pool, swimming pool, indoor badminton courts, multipurpose hall, Sky Container Lounge, arcade room, a par course, and Sky Garden.

Additionally residents are assured of a three-tier security system.

There are 626 units with built-up areas ranging from 463 to 1,445 sq ft. The units are generally smaller in size but efficiently designed as can be seen from two completed show units.

More than 80 per cent of the units are sized between 463 – 835 sq ft with an average price per unit of RM690,000.

Depending on intended use and living arrangements, home and property buyers can choose from these options: Studio, Simplex, Duplex, and dual key layouts.

Every unit enjoys a North-South orientation and comes fully-fitted. So one can move in with clothes and a potted plant.

“Union Suites was designed to match the lifestyle and social expectations of the younger generation, so everything – from the artistic façade to the fitness features, and the different layout options – has an exciting and hip vibe,” commented its chief operating officer Stewart Tew.

For those who recognise the investment potential of Union Suites, Symphony Life has made the deal even sweeter by partnering with Uncle James Hostel ( UJH), a leading student accommodation and hospitality agency based in Subang Jaya.

UJH functions as an agent by securing tenants for the unit, acting like a landlord by ensuring timely rental collections and taking care of maintenance issues, and when the need arises, even counsellor. Housekeeping services and shuttle bus services are also provided.

In the service industry since 1999, UJH has placed over 3,000 students from 14 countries in comfortable and clean accommodations.

Currently, there are over 400 rooms on their books with a 90 per cent occupancy rate.
