Columbia Asia to organise kids talent contest on Oct 14
MIRI: Columbia Asia is organising the Columbia Asia Kids Talent Competition at Imperial Permaisuri Mall on Oct 14.
The competition is open to members of Columbia Asia Kids Club ( CKC) as well as nonmembers aged below 12 years old and the registration fee is RM5 per person for non- CKC members and free for members.
Participants can present any type of performances such as magic show, musical instrument, singing, dancing, storytelling and others. Performances can be presented in a group or a solo act.
Participants will need to prepare their own props and judging criteria will include originality, creativity as well as design.
The closing date for registration is Sept 30 while an audition will be held for all participants at 10am on Oct 7, at Columbia Asia Hospital.
Selection for the final round will only be done after the audition and only 20 performances will be selected for the fi nal at Imperial Permaisuri Mall on Oct 14, in conjunction with Columbia Asia Cares Day.
Champion in the solo category will walk away with a cash prize of RM200, followed by RM150 for the second place and RM100 for the third place winner. All top three winners will also receive a trophy and certificate each.
For the group category, the champion team will bag RM300, followed by RM200 for the second place and RM100 for the third place. The top three teams will also receive a trophy and certificates.
