Sacred Heart Secondary School alumni to hold 30th reunion at Sarawak Club on Oct 20

KUCHING: The Sibu Sacred Heart Secondary School Alumni Association of Kuching will hold its 30th annual reunion dinner at The Sarawak Club here at 7pm on Oct 20.

Themed ‘Moving Forward Together’, all ex-students and their family members and friends are cordially invited to join the dinner.

According to the association’s press statement yesterday, guests will include former teachers and formers students who are now distinguished members of society.

There will be a presentation of academic excellence awards to members’ children who excelled in their various public examinations in 2016.

“Members, whose children achieved excellent results, are invited to send copies of their children’s examination result slips and the parents’ names via Whatsapp to Wong Chii Huo at 019- 8899270 or via 082- 426159 (fax) or email address chiihuow@ gmail. com, not later than Oct 6 2017,” the statement said.

Tickets for the dinner are priced at RM80 each and they are available from any of the association’s committee members.

Meanwhile, the association announced its 2017-2108 committee members who were elected during its Aug 4, 2017 annual general meeting.

They are Moses Wong King Kiu ( President); Nicholas Hu Kie Lik ( Vice president); Peter Kong Kuok Chi (Secretary); Chua Chee Kiong (Assistant secretary); Wong Sung Seng ( Treasurer); Lim Soo Teck (Assistant treasurer); Thaddeus Ling Allu ( Public relation officer) and Alexius Barieng (Assistant public relation officer) as well as committee members Jenny Ting Siu Nee, Leslie Tsai Song Lim, Wong Chii Huo and Albinus Bundan. Its immediate past president is Henry Chuo Kuong Hang.
