Public talk on cyber crime at Pustaka Miri Sept 18

MIRI: A talk addressing cyber crime issues will be held at Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri ( Pustaka Miri) here on Sept 18.

The talk will be from 2: 30pm until 4pm in the library’s auditorium. The guest speaker is Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Miri assistant director Fadzlida Hanim Abdul Razak.

Pustaka Miri, in a statement yesterday, said the talk, which is open to the public, aims to increase awareness and understanding on the risks of involvement in cyber crime, the consequences as well as ways to prevent them.

The library has been holding regular awareness and motivational talks as part of its activities in promoting lifelong learning and knowledgesharing.
