Supermarket to hold ‘Emart 916 Members Day’ tomorrow

MIRI: Emart Supermarket will hold ‘ Emart 916 Members Day,’ in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration tomorrow at all its outlets in Sarawak.

Held annually since 2015, this is the day where varieties of promotions are offered, fun games and activities packed with excitement and entertainment, as well as mystery gifts and irresistible prizes to be given away - exclusively for Emart Supermarket card members to enjoy!

In its press statement yesterday, Emart Supermarket said it has always been committed to walk the extra mile to deliver the excellent services to its customers because it believes a happy customer is worth more than gold.

As an effort to its commitment, the supermarket will extend its business hours until 11pm at Tudan, Riam and Matang outlets only on Sept 16.

On that day, starting 9am, a total of 916 ‘ mystery gifts’ will be given to the first 916 members once the store is open (except for Batu Kawa outlet).

Then, members will be tested on how fast and efficient they are of getting the right amount of purchase in a limited time set in the ‘Rush Hour Challenge’.

Only the first 10 fastest members whose purchase will be waived when they spend exactly on the amount required which will be announced by the emcee at 9.16am.

Besides, there will be lots of exciting activities such as sure win lucky spin, slipper throwing and dart game from 9am until 5pm at Batu Kawa, Matang, Tudan and Riam outlets.

Every member who spends RM91.60 and above is entitled to be one of the luckiest persons in the ‘Sure Win Lucky Spin’ to walk home with a mystery gift or an Emart umbrella.

And if you are looking for a quite challenging yet funny game to get involved in, try the Slipper Throwing Game. Throw the slipper using your leg into the bucket and win the mystery prizes or an exclusive Emart umbrella.

There is also the dart game for members who spend RM91.60 and above in a single receipt and win the mystery prizes or an exclusive Emart umbrella.

Be prepared for a dramatic and jaw dropping moment in eating burger competition only at Tudan, Riam, Batu Kawa and Matang outlets. The competition starts at 3pm and is open to the first 100 registered members only.

The fastest member who manages to finish the burger will win cash voucher worth RM100.

Final activity of the day is the most awaited Balloon Drop Activity which will start exactly at 9.16pm happening at all Emart outlets. Don’t miss the chance to grab free Emart cash vouchers.

Walk home with mystery gifts and Emart umbrella when customers register as a new Emart member or existing members come to renew their membership cards on September 2017.

Point redemption promotion will also be offered, starting from 399 points of which members are able to redeem Emart RM5 cash voucher.
