Join ‘Mid-Autumn Skyline Night’ on Sept 30
MIRI: Those who want to experience a different MidAutumn celebration are welcome to join the ‘Mid-Autumn Skyline Night’ to take place at Sky Garden of Meritz Hotel this Sept 30, beginning 6pm .
Organised by Meritz Hotel in collaboration with the Young Malaysians Movement and Miri FM with support from Julie’s and Yong Sheng Gift Shop, the celebration themed ‘ Han’s Dynasty’ is a culturally-infused dinner with a wide array of buffet dishes for patrons to enjoy throughout the evening.
“As this is the third culturally-infused event that Meritz organises, we have planned a series of activities that are exciting and fun such as children’s colouring contest, traditional games and performances, traditional tea ceremony, Han Dynasty fashion show, lantern giveaway and lucky draws,” the hotel’s assistant public relations manager Joanne Law said in a press statement released yesterday.
Joanne added that due to popular demand, the colouring contest has been shifted to 6pm to give participants more time to complete their art piece.
“All participants are encouraged to bring their own colouring materials. The prize- giving ceremony will be held on the same evening,” said Law.
Ticket to the Mid-Autumn Skyline Night is available at Meritz Hotel lobby and Miri FM at RM48 nett per adult and RM24 per child aged seven to 12 years old.
Purchase of the voucher is a prerequisite to register for the colouring contest.
