Syarikat Sri Minyak Tenaga opens fourth branch in Sarawak

MIRI: Syarikat Sri Minyak Tenaga Sdn Bhd launched its Miri branch in Piasau Utara yesterday, making it the fourth branch in Sarawak, after its headquarte­rs in Sibu as well as branches in Bintulu and Kuching.

According to its sales executive Patrick Lee Pui Hon, the company is an approved Shell fuel and lubricants distributo­r for Sarawak.

“Syarikat Sri Minyak Tenaga Sdn Bhd has been in the industry for 30 years and we distribute Shell motorcycle oils, motorcar oils, industrial lubricants as well as commercial diesel fuel,” he said.

The founder of Syarikat Sri Minyak Tenaga Sdn Bhd, Dato William Tiu thanked Shell for giving them the opportunit­y to become authorised distributo­rs of Shell fuel and lubricants for the whole of Sarawak.

“We are always ready to deliver value sales and services to every sector in the state,” he said.

He urged those in need of any type of Shell lubricant to contact any of their branches.

Miri branch is located at Lot 2217, Jalan Piasau Utara MCLD and the contact person is Bennet Lau ( 017- 8578077). Customers can also contact the headquarte­rs in Sibu directly at 086- 344655 or fax them at 085- 344735.

Shell Timur Sdn Bhd lubricant sales manager Choo Sze Wee who was present at the company’s launching ceremony yesterday thanked the community in Miri for supporting Shell all this while.

“Because of the support given to us, Shell has been the number one supplier in the global industry for the past 10 years.

“We are very happy that Syarikat Sri Minyak Tenaga Sdn Bhd has set up its branch here, as it will be easier for us to serve Shell customers in this region,” he said.

As the Miri branch was launched during the Chinese Mooncake season, Tiu and Choo wished all their customers a ‘ Happy Mooncake Festival’.

Present at the launching ceremony yesterday was Tiu’s wife Datin Siew Kim Geok.
