Maxis introduces the mDrive vehicle monitoring system

With mDrive — the newest vehicle tracking system using cellular technology by Maxis - you can track and monitor your fleet of vehicles at your fingertips using your smartphone, tablet or laptop.
Apart from vehicle tracking, users can get real time alerts and the system also provides behavioral reports for each trip, showing your drivers that you care for their safety.
According to Kelvin Ng, SME sales manager of Maxis Berhad, mDrive is a simple plug-and-play vehicle monitoring system.
A user only needs to insert an mDrive plug and play device onto the OBD port of the vehicle running on 12v battery supply, and install the mDrive mobile app to have real-time information on the whereabouts of the vehicle.
No complicated modifications is required, only internet connection using 3G /4G broadband.
To introduce this new mobile vehicle tracking technology to local fleet operators here, Maxis in cooperation with Mitsubishi 3S centre Auto Pacifica Sdn Bhd will organise a one- day mDrive road show at the dealership’s showroom from 1pm to 4pm today (Sept 28).
There will be promotions for customers who book this mDrive system on-the- spot apart from refreshments and demonstrations.
