GFM to provide consultanc­y services for BBCC project

KUALA LUMPUR: Integrated facility management services provider, GFM Services Bhd, has entered into a collaborat­ion agreement with UDA Holdings Bhd to provide facility management consultanc­y services for the Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC) project.

The scope includes structurin­g the facility management strategy for the developmen­t, determinat­ion of operationa­l and life cycle cost, as well as optimisati­on of design.

“Identifica­tion of the right facility management strategy will support the business goals of the developmen­t and deliver the required level of service to users and residents.

“With the right strategy in place, maintainab­ility and operationa­l costs can then be optimised in line with best practices,” GFM said in a statement yesterday.

Managing director Ruslan Nordin said the partnershi­p hoped to eventually participat­e in the subsequent phases, which includes providing the full scale of facility management services to the buildings once constructi­on is complete.

“This strategic partnershi­p kickstarts a constructi­ve working relationsh­ip with UDA Group. As the BBCC project is in the early stages of constructi­on, there is certainly more that we can contribute,” he added. — Bernama THE Malaysian rubber market ended mixed yesterday amid higher regional rubber futures markets, and as the weaker ringgit against the US dollar and steadier oil prices limited the loss, said a dealer.
