Serba Dinamik secures projects worth RM206 million
KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary, Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd (SDSB), has secured three new operations and maintenance contracts and four new engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contracts, with a combined value of about RM206 million.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, it said the new contracts were from Vestigo Petroleum Sdn Bhd, JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration ( Malaysia) Ltd, Malaysian Refining Company Sdn Bhd, Eversendai Oil & Gas Sdn Bhd, Indoor Air System Sdn Bhd, Lotus West Sdn Bhd, and Malaysia LNG Sdn. Bhd.
The contracts for the operations and maintenance projects range between six months and three years, up to August 2020, while the EPCC contracts range from one year to 10 years ending August 2028.
Additionally, SDSB would also embark on the construction of its new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) centre in Bintulu Sarawak, in line with its future plans as listed in the company’s prospectus.
“The construction work, which costs about RM200 million, will take approximately two years to complete.
“The centre will be used as a platform to expand the group’s business operations in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan,” the company said.
Its Group managing director/ group chief executive director, Datuk Dr Ir. Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah said the new MRO and IRM Centre comprised an MRO workshop, blasting, coating and galvanising plant, warehouse and storage facilities, office buildings, training centres and other facilities such as a carpark, a power substation and wastewater treatment plants.
On another note, the company said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Top Luxury Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a two-year contract to undertake the construction works for the Pengerang Eco-Industrial Park valued at RM400 million.
