UEM Sunrise on track to hit RM1.2 bln sales target by year-end

-

KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Sunrise Bhd is confident of achieving its sales target of RM1.2 billion by year-end, based on its current property sales which had hit about 70 per cent of the target.

Managing director/chief executive officer, Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, said the improvement in home loan approval rate was one of factors that helped drive the company’s sales.

“We have taken several initiatives, such as trying to bridge the home loan financing gap for potential home buyers,” he told reporters after launching the Residensi Solaris Parq, a mixed development in Mont Kiara yesterday.

Anwar Syahrin said the company’s projects, mostly located in prime areas, also helped boost the group’s total sales.

“For example, we received overwhelming response from buyers after the soft launch of the Residensi Solaris Parq last weekend.

“We are confident to hit 50 per cent take-up rate target by yearend,” he said.

Solaris Parq is a RM3 billion gross development value (GDV). The first phase, Residensi Solaris Parq, which comprises two towers, has a total GDV of RM755 million.

The piling works of the Residensi Solaris Parq are to begin next week and the project has been slated for completion in 2022.

Currently, UEM Sunrise has a total landbank of 5,343.02 hectares GDV of RM132.9 billion.

Anwar Syahrin said the company was assessing a piece of land in Klang Valley and hoped to secure it by year-end. — Bernama
