Barge worker feared drowned

BINTULU: An Indonesian barge worker is feared drowned after falling into a river at Ladang Jendala Padu jetty in Sebauh at 7am yesterday.

Four personnel from Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department ( Bomba) were despatched to scene to carry out the search and rescue operation. Bomba received a call from the police about the incicdent at 11.43am. The man who was identified as Ravin Sulawesi, 35, has yet to be found.
