Bandong Walk reaching out to the world through Facebook

-

SIBU: The Bandong Walk’s Facebook was launched here yesterday to promote the place as a food haven, according to Sibu Bandong Community Development Association ( PPKB Sibu) chairman Abang Morni Dato Sri Abang Zainuddin.

He said through the facebook, Bandong Walk can be promoted worldwide.

“The good thing about the web-based technology is you can promote Bandong Walk to anybody in the world.

“In that way, more people will know about Bandong Walk. So, when they come to check out Bandong Walk, they will be able to find the Bandong food court, which is just a stone’s throw away.

“The Bandong Walk’s Facebook will indeed promote the place as a food haven, and augurs well for food tourism,” he told reporters at a press conference on Bandong Walk Mini Carnival 2017.

Adding on, Abang Morni disclosed that there are 23 stalls currently operating at phase one of Bandong Walk.

There are 11 stalls in the second phase, he said, where they have already received applications from interested traders.
