Dou Jingtong excited over second album
BEIJING: Singer Dou Jingtong, 20, is bubbling with excitement over the impending release of her second album, Kids Only.
She had been tinkering with it for many months.
Disclosed Dou, who is the daughter of pop diva Faye Wong and rock veteran Dou Wei: “I finished more than half of the songs of the second album when I released the first album.
“I am really excited about this one and I cannot wait to release it.”
During a preview at a livehouse venue in Beijing, she performed five songs to positive responses.
It’s been 18 months since the release of her debut album, Stone Cafe, and she is enjoying every moment of being in showbiz. Dou also writes most of her songs.
During the short preview, her grandparents and aunt, singer Dou Ying, also showed up. Dou Ying’s husband, keyboardist and bassist Bei Bei, plays in Dou Jingtong’s band.
