THE Kuala Lumpur Tin Market (KLTM) remained flat at US$20,850 per tonne for the third consecutive day yesterday, with traders still looking for fresh leads and amid uncertainty in the metal price on the London Metal Exchange (LME), dealers said.
The tin price on the London Metal Exchange ( LME) last night was up US$140 to US$20,870 per tonne.
At the opening bell on the KLTM, bids stood at 42 tonnes, with offers at 44 tonnes. Trading saw the participation of buyers from China, South Korea, Japan, the United States, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Taiwan, with one local seller.
