KUCHING: Par ti P es aka Bumiputera Bersatu ( PBB) will have to reschedule its triennial general meeting( TGM) fixed for next February if the 14th general election (GE14) is called early next year.

Its acting deputy president Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah, who is also Deputy Chief Minister, said the party top leadership had taken the possibility of an early election next year into account before deciding the date for the TGM.

“The chief minister has taken that into consideration. But if the TGM happens to be held concurrently with the general election, we will have changes.

“If the general election is called after our TGM in February, then we won’t have any problem,” he told reporters after flagging off the ‘ Kembara Batang Lupar’ programme here yesterday.

Uggah said the party’s main organising committee would be furnished with an overall report on the preparation of the TGM during a forthcoming meeting.

“We will have a meeting on Oct 30 to get reports on preparation from the sub- organising committees.
