-

KUCHING: AusAsia Migration, the longest established Australian registered migration agency in Malaysia since 1998, will be conducting a series of free seminars entitled ‘Australia Migration & Investment’ on Oct 28 in Kota Kinabalu (Gaya Centre Hotel) and Oct 29 in Kuching ( Hilton Kuching).

A press statement yesterday said the topics of interest include the latest July 2017 rules on obtaining Permanent Residence ( PR) visas for investors, business owners, professionals and graduates from Australia.

Its principal migration consultant Li Lu Khoo said AusAsia Migration has conducted many joint seminars with Australian state governments and major property developers on the topic.

She added that the current Australian migration scheme is still possible for many Malaysians.

“Business persons can get direct business PR if their turnover is more than A$ 3 million per annum.

“Investors and business people can get TR ( Temporary Residence) visas with free schooling benefit via certain visas, with net asset requirement starting from A$ 850,000. If a deposit of A$ 5.0 million is made, stay period is only 160 days over a four-year period (average of 40 days a year).

“Professionals can still apply to get PR while Australian graduates can get a graduate visa of two- to- four years’ duration.

Khoo said Australian PR entitles one to access free or discounted educational benefits, business and employment opportunities there.

The company offers free eligibility assessment for all attendees.

There seminars will feature a special speaker, Leon Zhu, who is the founder and CEO of Sincerity Group, a key Western Australia property developer who has built many excellent value properties for sale near to university and school zones such as Curtin University and Edith Cowan University in Western Australia.

Many of these homes come with a guaranteed rental and buy back arrangements and have been purchased by East Malaysians.

Sincerity Group has also assisted many business PR migrants in their property development projects.

Another speaker at the seminar is Jason Wong, who is AusAsia Property’s business, property and investment principal consultant.

He will be speaking on special investment and property opportunities in Australia and also property investment ‘Do’s and “Don’ts’.

Private appointments with any of the speakers are also available on a limited basis. Further information can be obtained by calling or texting 012-3791876 or 012- 3793317.
