Auto Pacifica unveils Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0L
MIRI: Authorised Mitsubishi dealer Auto Pacifica Sdn Bhd yesterday unveiled the all-new locally- assembled Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0L sports utility vehicle (SUV).
A press statement said in connection with the launch, Auto Pacifica will hold a showroom event tomorrow and Sunday ( Oct 28-29) with test drives and light refreshment available for visitors.
Those who take photos with the new Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0L, like Auto Pacifica Sdn Bhd’s Facebook page and post the photos there will be in the running for an RM300 voucher and Mitsubishi umbrellas.
Winners will be announced on Nov 3.
The seven- seater Mitsubishi Outlander 2.0L is assembled by Tan Chong Motor Assemblies ( TCMA) in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.
It will be sold alongside the Completely Built- Up ( CBU) Outlander 2.4L, which was launched in April 2016.
As it is locally assembled, the 2.0L variant comes at an introductory price of RM141,205.12 (without insurance, GST inclusive) until the end of the year.
The new four-wheel drive (4WD) Outlander 2.0L is powered by Mitsubishi’s proven 2.0- litre engine, which generates a maximum power of 145PS and maximum torque of 196Nm, while the double overhead cam ( DOHC) Mivec engine is paired with Mitsubishi’s Invecs- 3 CVT transmission.
The Outlander 2.0L comes with a multi-select 4WD system of 4WD Eco, 4WD Auto and 4WD Lock to suit driving conditions and terrains.
Standard safety features include seven airbags, Active Stability and Traction Control (ASTC), Hill Start Assist ( HSA), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake- force distribution ( EBD), brake assist, Mitsubishi’s Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body and collapsible steering column.
Other safety features include the Rest Reminder, which reminds the driver to take a break when fatigue sets in.
On top of that, there are bestinclass features such as spacious cargo volume of 1,608 litres with the second and third row seats folded.
The SUV also has front parking sensors to complement the rear units, a dashcam digital video recorder and security/solar film for all windows.
The Outlander 2.0L SUV comes in Red Metallic, Solar White, and the new Black Ruby.
