SUPP Kapit opens positions in 2017-2020 committee to local members

KAPIT: The Sarawak United People’s Party ( SUPP) is inviting its registered members here to nominate themselves for positions on the committee line-up for the party’s local branch.

According to SUPP Kapit chairman Yeo Kim Hock, the branch’s 2017-2020 committee would be open for local SUPP members to fill.

He added that the directive for the election of SUPP Kapit committee for the 2017-2020 term came from the party’s headquarters Kuching.

“Just now, we had a meeting to discuss the matter further. We have formed the election committee to ensure smooth election process. In this regard, we are inviting aspiring candidates who wish to become committee members of SUPP Kapit to nominate themselves. The forms are available and can be obtained from me at Lot 37, Jalan Chua Leong Kee in Kapit Bazaar. The completed forms must reach me by noon of Nov 3 this year,” Yeo told reporters during a press conference held after the committee meeting recently.

SUPP Kapit will hold its triennial general meeting (TGM), commencing at 7.30pm, at Lok Lok Restaurant in Taman Chelseas High along Jalan Selirik here this Nov 9.

The branch’s election committee comprised Yeo, SUPP Kapit secretary Ling Thian Ing, as well as Councillor David Wong, Councillor Jenny Yii, Raymond Wong and Ngu Kwang Fook.
