Lou Doillon muse for new & Other Stories collection
AS WELL as being an actress, singer and model, Lou Doillon is also a fashion icon. As the perfect example of relaxed French style, she rocks a retro, chic and laidback look.
For the holiday season, Doillon adds another string to her bow as the muse for a new collection from & Other Stories, part of the H& M group, reported on Women’s Wear Daily on Tuesday.
Daughter of movie director Jacques Doillon and actress Jane Birkin, Doillon was raised in a family of artistes, herself becoming a singer, actress and model.
Often spotted on the front row of fashion shows, she has a unique style, combining retro influences straight from the Seventies with relaxed masculine inspirations and a rock ‘n’ roll touch.
As a symbol of French style, Doillon has helped & Other Stories create its Celebration collection, reinterpreting womenswear classics with masculine, elegant and rock ‘n’ roll vibes. While the collection hasn’t yet been presented in full, it is known to include a velvet suit, a white shirt and highly feminine dresses.
As part of this partnership, Doillon has been photographed in the French capital’s Le Trianon theatre. Looking more natural than ever, she can be seen playing piano and guitar.
Doillon regularly features on the cover of major fashion magazines and is no stranger to advertising campaigns. She has notably starred in ads for J Brand, Maje, Chloé and the Isabel Marant for H& M collection. — Relaxnews
