What we know about Taylor Swift’s ‘Reputation’

-

WITH Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” set to release on Friday, several songs, videos and scattered details offer a glimpse of what fans can expect, although much remains a mystery. Here’s a look at what we do know. This is the tracklist. Swift’s album features 15 tracks in all, according to a track listing she revealed on Tuesday on Instagram.

“Ready For It...?,” lead single “Look What You Made Me Do, “Gorgeous” and “Call It What You Want” have all been released in the build-up to the album release; as for the rest, fans will likely have to wait until Friday to hear them. It features these collaborators. Thanks to the tracklist, we know that Ed Sheeran and Future both feature on the album — on the same song in fact. That’ll be the album’s second track, called “End Game.”

Swift likewise enlisted frequent collaborators Max Martin ( behind Swift’s “Shake it Off,” among others) and Jack Antonoff (“Out of the Woods”) on the new album.

It may not hit streaming services right away.

According to Bloomberg, “Reputation” will not be available on streaming services for at least the fi rst week of sales. The report cites undisclosed sources who say Swift’s team is still negotiating a streaming release date, although it also notes the delay is still subject to change.

Some lucky fans have already heard the album.

As has been the case in releases past, Taylor Swift has granted small groups of lucky listeners the chance to hear “Reputation” in full at private listening parties known as “Secret Session” held at Swift’s various residences. Fans were sworn to secrecy, but you can tap into their excitement by watching a series of three clips Swift posted to Instagram. “Reputation” drops Nov 10. — Relaxnews
