Hope Place, Bintulu 4x4 Club to embark on CWB5 in Pantu

KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching and Bintulu 4x4 Club will be making their way to visit longhouses in Pantu, Sri Aman as part of their Charity Without Borders 5 (CWB5) event.

CWB5, which began five years ago, will take place from Dec 8 to 10 and see the team deliver essential items such as food and clothing to the less fortunate, as well as toys for children in the area.

A medical and dentistry team from Kuching Division Health Department has also been invited to participat­e in the event.

In preparatio­n for CWB5, Hope Place is calling on the public for donations in the form of biscuits (300 boxes), 1kg Milo (300 boxes), noodles (300 boxes), 1kg cooking oil (300 bottles), 1kg salt (300 packets), 1kg sugar ( 300 packets), oats (100 packets) and two PVC carpet rolls.

Hope Place currently supports over 180 needy families in Kuching, and depends heavily on public support to carry out its charity work.

It also aids families with special needs children, the elderly or disabled with special milk powder, oats and disposable diapers.

Cash donations can also be made to ‘Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching’ via Maybank account 5112- 8900-1160. Do request for a receipt from staff of Hope Place.
