Miri lass takes third spot in Yeo’s Natural Beauty Contest 2017

MIRI: Organisers of Yeo’s Natural Beauty Contest presented the third prize to Christine Chua, at the See Hua Marketing office here yesterday.

The 21-year- old Mirian received RM1,000 from Yeo Hiap Seng Trading Sdn Bhd assistant manager Yong Kim Kian. Christine was accompanie­d by photograph­er Jack Hii, also a Mirian.

The presentati­on was witnessed by See Hua Marketing Sdn Bhd acting branch manager Nickky Chua.

Christine was also among the 10 daily winners from Miri. The other nine winners are Chieng Chow Hong, Ting Souk Juan, Vivian Chang, Lean Hii Jing Xuan, Lai Siaw Ping, Winnie Wong, Amanda Ngu, Voon Li Chiong and Mary Ann Tiang Jia Ee who received RM100 each while their photograph­ers were also rewarded with RM100.

The Borneo Post, See Hua Daily News and Utusan Borneo came in as joint organising partners with Yeo Hiap Seng ( Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, for the third time in the ‘ Yeo’s Natural Beauty Contest’.

The month-long contest from Sept 1 to 30 this year received overwhelmi­ng response from enthusiast­ic participan­ts – both the women and their photograph­ers – from all walks of life.

The contest drew inspiratio­n from Yeo’s Green Tea – a favourite beverage among women.

The drink, which is brewed from premium green tea leaves, contains neither added preservati­ve nor colouring.

Furthermor­e, Yeo’s Green Tea is rich with anti- oxidant properties to combat free radicals in the body and increase body metabolism for better weight management.
