Digital economy highlighted in AYClive programme
KUCHING: Angkatan Zaman Mansang Sarawak (Azam Sarawak) held their Azam Youth Central Live (AYClive) programme at Borneo 744 yesterday which highlighted digital economy as an emerging aspect of the state’s agenda.
According to AZAM board member Dominci Chuo, Azam Sarawak has always taken a hands on approach by going to the ground, sharing knowledge and information as part of its role as a development and communications NonGovernmental Organisation.
He said AZAM always strives to move development agendas forward through empowering the people and assisting in the state’s development process.
Three workshops and one forum were held at the one-day event which incorporates exciting artistic and recreational activities.
The workshops focussed on technoprenuerships, artprenuerships and fintech while the ‘Ngopi/Ngeteh’ session saw a forum on ‘Adapting to Change and Riding on Trends in the 4.0 Era’.
Meanwhile, a randau session presented TEDx@ Kenyalang curator Zaiwin Kassim, PolicyStreet co-founder Wilson Beh, MaGIC Sarawak representative Amirin Arsyan and HAUS Kch representative Ashweein Narayanan as panelists.
This year AYClive also features other exciting activites such as At Adau, Soundholic, Foxgloves and modern dance by University Malaysia Sarawak (Uimnas) students.
