Rep: Commitment, cooperation, responsibility winning formula for PBB Pantai Damai

KUCHING: Commitment, close cooperation and a strong sense of responsibility have been identified as the ‘winning formula’ for Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) with regard to its Pantai Damai win though out the past elections.

Assistant Minister of Rural Electricity Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, who is Pantai Damai assemblyman, these three attributes could be seen in all party machinery across this constituency.

“The three are the contributing factors to the PBB Pantai Damai’s success, proven time and again when we won big with a majority of 9,260 votes in the 11th state election; and gained a 9,126majority (for PBB) in the 13th parliamentary election,” he said at the launch of the two-day Pantai Damai Branch annual general meeting (AGM) of its youth and women’s wings for the 2017-2020 session, in Santubong near here yesterday.

He pointed out that without all the hard work by members of the party’s wings, it would have been hard for PBB Pantai Damai to achieve such success.

At the same time, he called upon members of all PBB Pantai Damai machinery to continue their commitment in carrying out their responsibilities towards ensuring that the party would retain the same momentum in the future.

Dr Abdul Rahman also reminded members from 41 PBB sub-branches in Pantai Damai Branch to always be pro-active in their membership drives.

“As at October this year, we successfully registered 16,260 new members.”
