Another reason for encouraging Sarawakians to take part in the schemes, she added, was to enable them to participate in digital economy as espoused by the state government.
The e-Rezeki and e-Usahawan are two entrepreneur development programmes implemented by the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation ( MDEC).
MDEC has provided 15 locations across the state to train Sarawakians joining the two schemes.
The programme was previously held in Kuching, Sri Aman, Limbang, Miri and Sibu.
So far, 86 individuals around the country who have participated in the programme are earning more than RM1 million through their business.
At the ceremony, Rohani distributed tools assistance to 21 local participants of the 1Azam Programme ( Commerce and Services).
Present during the event was Simunjan assemblyman Awla Dris.
