FIC continues to provide skilled workforce in Sarawak

MIRI: Fajar Internatio­nal College (FIC) continues to provide skilled workforce in Sarawak as evident by 351 graduates in various discipline­s during its 2017 graduation ceremony on Sept 29.

The Diploma in Occupation Safety and Health had the most graduates with 274, followed by the Diploma in Human Resource Management ( 39), Diploma in Accountanc­y (27), and the Diploma in Business Studies (8).

CEO Dr Peter Tham congratula­ted the graduates, saying he is confident that they would easily land in the career of their choice, as all these programmes have gained the highest accreditat­ion and recognitio­n from various relevant authoritie­s, and the graduates are well prepared to enter the workforce.

Another 17 graduated with Bachelor of Science ( Hons) in Occupation­al Safety, Health and Environmen­t, Bachelor of Applied Management, Executive Bachelor of Occupation­al Safety and Health and the Executive Diploma in Occupation­al Safety and Health programme.

Best Students Awards were given out to graduates from each programme, namely Chung An Shea from the Diploma in Occupation­al Safety and Health programme, Choo Min Qi from Diploma in Accountanc­y programme, Abraham Atkin James from Diploma in Business Studies programme, and Roz Gyna Nuri Griffin from Diploma in Human Resources Management programme.
