FAME to participate in education fairs
KUCHING: FAME International College (FAME) will participate in numerous education fairs across Sabah and Sarawak this month.
Today, the college’s education consultants will be at the Global Educational Service (GES) educational fair in Sibu, the Eduquest Education Fair in Kota Kinabalu, and the L&P Education Fair in Miri.
They will also be at the Eduquest Education Fair in Kuching on Wednesday (Dec 6) and on Friday (Dec 8) at the Smart Education Fair in Bintulu and ML Education Fair in Sibu.
FAME will also hold open days on Dec 15-17 and info days on Dec 22-23.
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia school leavers as well as foundation and Unified Examination Certificate holders can meet with the college’s education consultants to plan their academic progression.
Established in 1998, FAME is a private higher education provider offering certificate in business studies, foundation in management and diploma courses, Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
The college also conducts two degree programmes in collaboration with the University of Cumbria, United Kingdom – the Bachelor of Science (Hons) Business Management, Accounting and Finance, and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) International Business Management.
The diploma programmes are Diploma in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship.
FAME also conducts International English courses.
All FAME diploma holders gain direct entry into year two of the bachelor’s degrees.
Students can opt to transfer to the University of Cumbria campus to complete their studies and attend the convocation in the UK.
Eligible foundation graduates can enter year one of the degree programme.
The degree programmes are facilitated by local lecturers, who work closely with the University of Cumbria’s faculty to ensure a similar learning experience as students on campus in the UK.
All courses offered are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.
