KUCHING: The Claypot House opens at Level 3 (opposite SugarBun), Vivacity Megamall here, serving affordable and tasty dishes to tickle the palates.

With claypot dishes such as the Pakistan Lamb Curry and the Salted Fish Chicken, Claypot House offers a hot hearty meal that will delight those seeking comfort food.

Claypot dishes are priced from RM8.90 to RM13.90 and come with rice. Choose between six types of chicken dishes, four lamb dishes, one beef or one seafood dish.

Available to tempt your taste buds are claypot ginger chicken, herbal mushroom soup, Korean kimchi chicken, gong pao lamb and spicy beef blades.

New on the menu is the BBQ Chicken, served with either fried rice or noodles with wonton. The chicken is moist and tasty, complementing the rice or noodles well.

Located near the food court, it is a brightly lit establishment which also serves western food and local favourites such as chicken rice and kolo mee.

The Claypot House began as a stall at Emart Batu Kawah, but garnered enough of a following to venture out into a proper shop at Everise BDC. The Vivacity branch is their second, and they are expanding fast, with plans to open a third outlet at MJC and their fourth at Hock Lee Centre before year end.

The eatery does not serve pork and is in the process of getting its halal certification.

They are open 10am to 10pm.
