Tegas Digital Innovation Hub hosts branding programme for young entrepreneurs
KUCHING: Tegas Digital Innovation Hub ( TDIH) in collaboration with its partner, SME Corp hosted the Brand the Right Way programme for young entrepreneurs here last Saturday.
The Brand the Right Way programme introduces entrepreneurs to best practices for developing their brands across various touchpoints as well as managing and measuring each brand as it grows. Among the topics covered in the programme were brand strategy, brand audit, brand positioning and measuring brand loyalty and equity.
The programme is another initiative by TDIH which aims to empower future change-makers and is in line with the state’s commitment to accelerate its digital economy. TDIH serves as a platform to nurture talents, support entrepreneurs and create innovators for Sarawak.
“We all know that branding is a critical factor for success in today’s digital economy. However, how can we build and maintain a competitive brand?” said Tegas chief operating officer Awangku Merali Pengiran Mohamed in a press release.
The Brand the Right Way programme wasdelivered by Azuar Zainuddin, a brand consultant with vast experience working with some of the world’s most valuable brands across diverse sectors. He had also taught at two Australian universities foreign branch campuses in Sarawak. In recent times, he has been involved in several entrepreneur development programmes with various organisations, including, Tegas, Cedar and CGC, throughout the country.
