Associatio­n thanks MP for strong nonstop support

KAPIT: The Kapit Chinese Women Associatio­n expresses its appreciati­on to Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Developmen­t Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi for his ongoing support to the local body over the past 18 years.

Associatio­n chairperso­n Penghulu Wong Kie Ing specifical­ly conveys her thanks to Nanta’s wife, Datin Angelina Celestine Ujang, who is also the associatio­n’s advisor.

in 1999. We have been able to carry out our activities because of strong support from Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Masing, Datuk Nanta, ( Pelagus assemblyma­n) YB Wilson Nyabong Ijang and ( Bukit Goram assemblyma­n) YB Jefferson Jamit Unyat.

“We also wish to thank Datin Angelina – all these years, she has given us invaluable advice which has helped us to manage the associatio­n well,” she spoke at a dinner hosted by the associatio­n at Airport Corner, Jalan Airport here on Sunday.

Adding on, Wong called upon associatio­n members to render their undivided support to Nanta – the incumbent Kapit MP – in the next parliament­ary election.

The dinner also hosted Nanta’s senior private secretary Sylvester Insor Lingan, Kapit District Officer Elvis Didit and local community leader Temenggong Tan Kian Hoo.
