Association thanks MP for strong nonstop support
KAPIT: The Kapit Chinese Women Association expresses its appreciation to Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi for his ongoing support to the local body over the past 18 years.
Association chairperson Penghulu Wong Kie Ing specifically conveys her thanks to Nanta’s wife, Datin Angelina Celestine Ujang, who is also the association’s advisor.

in 1999. We have been able to carry out our activities because of strong support from Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Masing, Datuk Nanta, ( Pelagus assemblyman) YB Wilson Nyabong Ijang and ( Bukit Goram assemblyman) YB Jefferson Jamit Unyat.
“We also wish to thank Datin Angelina – all these years, she has given us invaluable advice which has helped us to manage the association well,” she spoke at a dinner hosted by the association at Airport Corner, Jalan Airport here on Sunday.
Adding on, Wong called upon association members to render their undivided support to Nanta – the incumbent Kapit MP – in the next parliamentary election.
The dinner also hosted Nanta’s senior private secretary Sylvester Insor Lingan, Kapit District Officer Elvis Didit and local community leader Temenggong Tan Kian Hoo.
